Think so? I invest time and money on first league and as i heard changes where goimg to be there too... Thought was good idea to try there first...

Because the passive tree wasn't nearly bloating and boring enough already, so they had to make it worse.

Anyway. GGG is in for a huge surprise as most people I’ve talked to aren’t excited for new league, they are worried that the game now sucks and are going to test on the standard league before wasting ANYMORE time energy and effort into what could very well be a dead on arrival game.

You know GGG messed up when most players aren’t going to hop right to new league and instead are going to test on the old league characters to make sure the game is even worth their time.

You can argue with that fact but you will never change that fact. Facts don’t care about your feelings. You want to ride GGG’s lap, go ahead. You have every right to, just don’t expect me or many other people to respect you for it.

Loads of people feel identical to how I do, most of them won’t come and complain. I’m here complaining because I genuinely enjoyed the game. I care about its success. But I can’t change whether it will be successful or not, I have no power in that department.

All I can do is cast my opinion and pray common sense finds its way to the crack head in charge. The difference between me and you is I would say this to whoever is in charges face. Id say it to the whole studio and tencent.

Facts do not care about feelings. Measurable metrics cannot be countered by your desire to ride GGG’s lap, no matter how badly you wish it could.

Also let me predict the future here, GGG will say new league is a success due to the sheer number of bot accounts that are playing new league to farm divine and items to RMT. Having an active player base of mainly botter accounts shouldn’t be something GGG is striving for but it’s there game to ruin.

Well at current pricing I’d call them macro transactions. Look into how much it costs to have a full guild roster.

Another huge miscalculation on our part as players was not realizing GGG cashed out with the EA sales and now has turned profit so they have no desire to make the game better. They’ve already gotten cut a profitable check and can depend on those macro transactions to fuel them moving forward, they don’t need to make a good game anymore until the next release they rug pull us on.

Infact it’s more profitable for them if they can absolute destroy poe2 player base en mass and not have to pay as much to server upkeep. They benefit from ruining the game at this point. So does every other competing developer.

I’m starting to believe these companies pay each other off to tank their own games so competition gets more buys. Like a never ending cycle of rug pulls.

Stock market = rug pull

Crypto = rug pull

Housing market = rug pull

Video games = rug pull.

I think the future of the human race is very clearly illustrated. I can understand stocks, crypto, and even housing I could understand being literally rug pull factories. But how far has the human race fallen that we have turned the entire video game industry into a for profit rug pull ecosystem where developers launch a fire game to only turn it into trash so more competing games have a chance to sell so that developers can rug pull as much as possible and take as much money as humanly possible from gamers.

At no point did i defend the changes, as i'm not fully familiar with them, i was just pointing out that what you're doing doesn't help anyone.
Why did i even try, should've just not made eye contact with the drug addict so i hadn't pulled aggro.

If you don’t want to make eye contact with the crack/coke head just avoid whoever is the shot caller at GGG.

You can think that honey gets more results than dung, but GGG lost my respect.

Respect and disrespect is earned.

You don’t have to respect people who earned disrespect. That’s called respecting yourself.

Waiting 2 days prior to the patch to tell everyone about all these legacy items that they are too lazy to stat fix and about how they are cutting the most niche build defining items by 50% and expect the 100 skill gems to make up for it when we all know of the 100 skill gems maybe 10 will be strong.

What you fail to realize is GGG’s actions and decisions earned them my disrespect. They acted like cowards who knew what they were doing was wrong. And did it anyway.

Like I said, it’s there game to ruin. I don’t mind grabbing some popcorn and watch them burn down the ship they built.

I’m gonna illuminate one more fact for you, the reason I’m so upset is because I honestly cared about this game. I wanted to play it for the next 5-10 years. But I have self respect.

I won’t help support a bunch of cowards who treat their loyal player base like literal beasts of burden. We are literally alpha testing this game for them and they don’t show us a sliver of respect or courtesy.

I mean come on man, we literally all PAID GGG so that we could alpha test this game. They told us it was in a beta state. That was a bold face lie. I paid for the $100 dollar founder pack because I thought these people were legit.

It’s funny the roadmap to success isn’t that hard to figure out. Thats why I know the shot caller at GGG must have a serious drug problem or be one of the dumbest people on the planet.

Nepotism or a serious drug problem, I’ll bet everything I own on it.

I feel like i've paid money for someone to kick me in the groin. 1000 hours most of which was currency grinding for to buy items that dont work anymore. Clicking on god know how many orbs and splinters and using the currency exchange to save up for higher priced items that are now meaningless? It's all been a waste of time but hey at least I have +200% gold find now. Ridiculous.

There is a wide difference between self respect and being an asshole

An asshole gets enjoyment from the behavior.

Someone who respects themselves enough to not tolerate disrespect gains no joy from the behavior.

To an asshole everything is a joke.

To someone with self respect nothing is a joke.

Thats why it was so offensive when the crackhead lead dev was like “oppsy we didn’t notice that we accidentally doubled boss HP pools.”

Okay so you are telling me you intended to launch poe2 with 24 jewel slots and bosses with half HP and you called that a beta ready product?

Like stop and think for a second, if the game was designed how they intended bosses would have been pub stomped twice as fast as instantaneously.

There idea for a fix is to cut jewel slots by 50% lowering our overall damage output and defensive output, then her comes the brilliance, because they cut boss HP in half our halved jewel slots and dps are now comparable as if the HP was doubled right? Wrong.

Because those 12 jewel slots you lost > 50% boss hp.

Quite literally the only worse decision possible would have been to cut more jewel slots. This is metrically measurable. It’s a fact.

I got a nice bowl of popcorn ready to watch GGG burn its own player base to ashes.
