They basically cut ingenuity in half too. Woah yeah, they really like 50% and 200% over at gg for balancing.

Imagine a scale but it only works at 50% or 200% and no in between.

If you are wondering what meme it embodies just imagine something with lots of drooling and in a luxury room but the twist is the room is a padded cell with soft walls and you are in a straight jacket.

And may I add yet again, the fact there is no PvP is an absolute travesty. What a waste. I mean what are we even doing here? Going out of our way to gimp the product? Because that’s how it looks.

Even GGG said they cant test everything, that the best way to test things is by us players. So they dropped the nerf bat on all the stuff that was played a lot because they have the data they wanted/needed on those interactions. So basically now we are Beta testers for the new content coming out in 0.20. Much easier to collect and review data if the player base is playing/using the things you wish to beta!!!

I'm not sure how this is going to affect things, but this seems like a bad change. Personally not in favor of it, but maybe they'll bring them back.

Did you know that back in the day promo merchandise for companies was given out for free? They stopped doing so when the market realized it could make money.

The reason people were stacking jewels in PoE2 is because the tree had very few optimal choices.

PoE1 jewels are light-years stronger. We don't even have cluster jewels in PoE2.

So I talked to the guys in the back. They said the only reason they removed the sockets was to make the OP mad. Then they laughed and laughed.

I would have preferred Adorned getting nerfed by 25% while getting 50% more jewel sockets...

Ya I mean they could have left the sockets in place and cut the benefits in half... then we could complain about that instead of the lack of sockets.

Depending on the build it should be rather obvious why they did something like this.
