Let me just quote this gem from POE2's Steam Q&A:
"Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?"
"As long as needed. We believe it will be at least 6 months."
Yeah, sure. Keep defending GGG if you want, but let’s not pretend they don’t know exactly what they’re doing. This is textbook manipulation. That line is crafted to sound harmless and reassuring, but it’s designed to bait unsuspecting newcomers into spending money, without having a damn clue about the absolute disaster POE2 is right now. Anyone who's actually played it knows full well this isn’t a "6 months and done" situation. This is years away from being a complete product. And hiding behind a technically true but obviously false statement like that? It's straight-up deceptive. They knew since the EA launched that "months" is just a bs lie.

And there in bold is the answer to your problem. Could be months could be years. How about some patience?

While I argue against the narrative "GGG said it will take them 6 months" brought up by others, because that's not what they said, instead they said "AT LEAST 6 months", I fully understand the point you are making here.
Like... GGG had to take the PoE1 devs to help with PoE2 even BEFORE EA release, but still made the statement "at least 6 months"!?
Bruh. If you need help from the PoE1 devs because you can't keep up with the deadline, you don't make this statement. Unless...

It’s a deliberately vague, legally safe way to look transparent while avoiding any real accountability. Meanwhile, they’re happy to rake in early money while the game’s a half-baked mess.

Given that the current shitshow could not possibly have been predicted, I'm sure the timeline has been extended by a significant amount. Their excitement gets in the way of their ability to set reasonable goals and deadlines for themselves. It's still better to take longer than to rush things out for dates that they have promised. No compromises on quality

Then why they keep even today that statement, why is not edited to say the truth ? "at least couple years"? :)

GGG doesn't care at all how uncomfortable you play, they have only Spears this season, and it's okay, I can choose AFK

"Vacation First, Players Last—Is This How You Treat Your Community?"
The Ultimate Betrayal: GGG’s Cycle of Neglect
Once again, Grinding Gear Games (GGG) proves they care more about sipping cocktails on a beach than fixing their broken mess of a game. PoE 2 is a disaster, and the developers? Gone. Vanished. On another goddamn vacation right after dropping a major update.
Game-Breaking Bugs? Who Cares!
My Atlas device is a joke—it fills with unplayable fog unless I reset it constantly. Maps? Bugged. Unfinishable. My 3-slot Utility Belt refuses to work with Freeze Immunity charms, rendering my build useless. Weeks of progress, ruined.
I emailed support. Their response? "Post it on the forums, lol."
I posted. Crickets. No fixes. No replies. Just radio silence from a team that takes our money and runs.
"Balanced" Combat? More Like One-Shot Circus
Even with max resistances, 6k+ HP, AND energy shield, some random white mobs delete me in 0.2 seconds. Is this "challenging gameplay" or just lazy, untested design?
GGG’s Mantra: "F* You, Pay Me"**
They drop updates, break everything, then disappear—leaving players to suffer. No hotfixes. No communication. Just arrogance and contempt for the community that funds their tropical getaways.
We Deserve Better
If GGG can’t be bothered to do their damn jobs, maybe it’s time we stop supporting them. No more MTX. No more hype. Hit them where it hurts—their wallets.
Enough is enough. Fix your game, or watch your player base LEAVE.
For god's sake it was HOLIDAY both friday and yesterday! they CANNOT keep their employees working!
