Warning for Ultra widescreen Mod after I disabled it

"
they really dont have to do much for us to be happy and start playing the game. just one little tweet: "we wont ban anyone for 32:9" and i would make some coffee and start playing. the fix is already here since release and we have been playing for hundreds of hours.

we are a huge minority, probably only 1-3 thousand people, way less than 1%. thats why this whole thing is just so silly and stupid.

Yeah, that's why its so silly. Just one tweet and it would be all fine.
And even if our numbers aren't massive, a wild guess is that people who fork out for a 32:9 monitor spend way more on games on average. So its like just leaving money on the table.

"leaving money on the table"
Exactly my point as a company stance. What company does that!?!?
I get it if something is "Majorly" wrong to make this stance. But this? This should send a signal to all players that play this game, something is wrong with GGG. Just as you notice with this weird patch and then a weird fix on that patch. Doesn't that just send you some kind of signal that something is wrong!? My small belief, but I'm normally pretty accurate, in that what's wrong, is coming somewhere from the top. Who's not even listening to those at the bottom or those who are reporting things that go on. If that's true, wish those within could strike lol.
at the end of the day its just a game and we dont have to play anything if we dont feel welcome to do so. and they dont have to please everyone, BUT they are the ones who need to make money, we can spend our precious time with whatever game welcomes us. (which is pretty much every other game)
But it's just wacked out that those who make games are becoming this way. A long while back, games used to come with built in cheats lol. Even back in the day where there weren't many pc but more on console! For example, UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, B, A, Start! Who complained then about that?

Tell you what, back then games were meant for "fun". Once again I'm stating that. Money wasn't exactly all in play for tournaments, etc...
It's all when those things started to happen and people making money from games that now it became like unto a job which takes the fun out of the game. Where once people didn't care and now they do. It's no longer purely on the entertainment side. Games have come to just be a hand that reaches into your pocket and wants the $! They don't make it with a passion for fun, but in what way can we make more $!? This to me, is a pathetic way of my gaming world that I used to live in unto now. It saddens me.

And now the use of a piece of my hardware, I can get banned from something I've purchased, that I worked for to earn that money that I've spent on this. And they'll take and keep my money for sure! I don't see any of them telling me, I'm sorry your unhappy with our product etc... Would you like to return it? We can get into a whole new talk here, I don't care too. It's just wacked out how the game industry is going, that's all. Where's the "real" fun? Simply just that?

Look at Madden football. Sucked all the life out of something I enjoyed. I havn't bought madden since somewhere around 2008 now. Cause they all just suck. Money grabbing junk games. Anyways, sorry some for a small rant.
cheating in a singelplayer or "local" gamne is very different from cheating in an online multiplayer game

Lol, do any of you who come here and post something, read through this post? Or just skim over the top and post something shallow without the depth of the issue?

to be fair, poe2 is pretty much a singleplayer game that forces you to be online.
Is there a reward or something in their league? Or is it simply just something that just says, hey, you're at the top and that's it? What is the actual said outcome of this 32:9 cheat affecting something? I've heard of the market. That, I can think if so, is minimal. I've played different aspects, however I didn't care to compete. I've died regardless of what screen I've used. So on my end, I didn't really see this advantage until I have this window pop up in game telling me I'm cheating, then on top of that, come on this forum to really find out what it was.

I want to know, how do those with 32:9 affect other players?
Is there absolutely no solution to this for this game?
If not, I can stop talking here. But if so, why isn't the solution simply implemented? Far as I know, I know of some that will work. But I've heard nothing to solve this issue in return.

Respond kindly and with actual reasoning in conversation. All I've heard here is simply bashing against it. "Cause it's cheating" just doesn't cut it, I do see in a small way how however, but it's minimal. Or "because you can see more on your screen" doesn't cut it either. These things are quite obvious. It does not however, answer the question I'm asking, get to the root of the issue, nor does it help solve, if possible, the issue. What is, this real problem with it? Is it because I used a mod to achieve it? Then I'd ask to stick the aspect into the game. Is it cause of faster clearing runs (speed runs)(if I were to ever get to that point)? Then I'd ask to keep those with 32:9 out of leagues or whatnot that have some type of competition. Etc...

What I see, is that there are solutions. Other games have done it. Why, does GGG not do it? Not talk about it? Or cannot do it? Why is there no response here upon it? Am I supposed to try to go look this up somewhere upon the reasoning? Where would I find the answers to the questions I'm seeking? I havn't heard clearly the answers to this. All is a fog, which is also another solution they could do. Probably more a pain to do that one, but still, can work.
The "advantage" is so minimal that it makes no sense talking about it.

I play Hardcore SSF and when I do a T15 map my eyes DO NOT stray from the health bar above my character so I don't even see what's happening on the sides of an ultrawide screen. If you are the type of person who gets distracted by that it WILL get you killed, so in that sense it would actually be a disadvantage.

In my opinion, the only people who are "competitive" in this almost entirely non-competitive game are those who are in maps within 3 days of a new league (and if it takes you 3 days your on the slow end).
Those that can get there in 3 days will do so consistently regardless of aspect ratio. Those that take 3 weeks to do so, there is no aspect ratio that can help them overcome being slow.

Its ridiculous, being "good" at this game is all about doing things FAST, not seeing further. Doing ANYTHING that requires focusing on the edges of your screen automatically disqualifies yourself from being fast thus disqualifying yourself from being competitive.
I also have Ultra Wide monitor and seeing those black bars on the side makes this game look like old game. For the record Last Epoch will have race next week and it supports fully even my 49" G9 ultra wide.
So whatever GGG excuse was not to support is just plain wrong.
