Some important differences: No quests, no dialogue, no looking for the same old quest objectives and exits. Why do i have to waste my time with redoing a part of the game over and over again that i no longer enjoy after the x'th time?
POE1 players have been conditioned and groomed into accepting it but i don't think it will work with many of the new audience, especially with how long the new campaign is. An average player doing two characters would spent something like 50-70 hours only in campaign every season. It's unreasonable to assume that everyone will be happy with that. That is longer than some AAA games combined.

why the hell anyone thinks they should just get to skip the game... i have no idea
