Ah yes.
Loot is fine in a 4 tower setup that some players might never see or others take days to find. And in the meantime? Big fun to have shit loot for 99% of the time and then maybe get lucky and have the perfect tower setup to run a few maps with good loot. Congrats princess on telling the starving people to just eat cake... /s |

I think drops should exist only from bosses and generally only from unique monsters. But it should be 1000% rewarded.
Disappointed to see all the time useless drops. One more bonus from that is it doesn't slows you from opening fast continuous maps. Bored to see people sell all the time unwanted items. |

So.. U have to reach that amount of quantity and quality in order to make a map juicy...
+ u need to have some quality already on ur gear. U have 200% quality and 75% quantity in the map u just runned. So untill u reach that point wich is literally deep endgame u will b getting almost no loot. Meaning 4-5 exalted per map as maximum... Conclusion, quality is still 2 mandatory. Them should reduce the difference between having 200 quality and having none so u get around 7-8 ex per map with none and around 15 with quality. And then quantity 100% does actually double the basic quantity of it. With 1 random divine drop every 10-20 maps. Also a way to spend divines in metacrafting or other dutties to regulate the inflation of them. And adding scouring and alterations so we dont have to spend our time triying to find the right white base. |

Gameloop for me is just grinding the boring stuff to grind more boring stuff. Tickets are worth more on trade than it is to play the actual content. No, loot is not ok. And it is not hard to see that. Have a game first. Then build some market around it. Not going to play an eco sim for more than another season. 3 times the charm.

I disagree.. from my first playthrough, I basically got stuck at Act 2 boss because the staff I had wasn't adequate, and I didn't have the resources to craft. And it's not a "git gud" thing, the mechanics were very reasonable, but the boss had a massive health pool, and could hit you reliably enough that you'd slowly run out of health flasks (try playing melee if you disagree).
If you want POE2 to be a strategy game, then give us more opportunity to craft our own items by making disenchants more lucrative, or just drop more currency. Loot isn't good, so to say "nerf loot" is insane. It needs tweaking for sure. In POE1, stuff drops all the time, and I felt way more engaged in tweaking my build and building it up incrementally. Again, I would love for the opportunity to craft my own gear, but I would blow through currency after a couple of items, so instead, I just hoard it and hope to find things. |
