Man, I hate to say it but I agree with everything you just said. What I don't understand at all is why Phrecia was ended without a firm date for these events and their expected rollouts.

We are in this very weird period right now that the only show in town is Standard with no indication there will be anything but Standard to play over the next few weeks. The updates have been very vague on dates and the lack of response makes me feel like these temp leagues are weeks off still.

I can help you understand, atleast from my own perspective.

In the past when Bex and Chris were still with GGG, even during the darkest times like archnemesis league, we still had good communication, prompt updates, teasers, etc.

It is either a management issue with GGG, or a personnel resource allocation issue. If I was in a position where I am running this type of company, I would have a team who is specfifically dedicated to community operations, maybe a handful of people under me to oversee and moderate the forums, etc.

This variable has been removed from the equation. Looking at the behavior such as allowing settlers to persue for almost an entire YEAR, is just unnacceptable and then giving us recycled content and leftovers as fill-ins because they took so many of the POE 1 people and moved them to prioritize POE 2, it's just crazy.

I have been around long enough to see the trends, and some of it is practicable.

TLDR - GGG is disconnected from the POE community and if they don't start taking the feedback provided by their investors (people like me and you) they will suffer the consequences of losing a lot of their customer base.

When you constantly put people into a position where you are promising different things and then not delivering on any of these things, it is just a very bad look.

There needs to be some MAJOR changes in how GGG is handling and responding to feedback and criticism and ultimately just communicating with the community instead of being tunnel versioned, it's arrogant and frankly disrespectful to us.
