3.25 End-of-League Private League Events

Hope we will not wait a month for next post, that would mean, next season start will be most likely mid june earliest.. il be pieced..
Maybe good thing about poe2 will be, that eventually it will drawn many people to poe1 :D
I have teory, that they delay poe1 intentionally, as they dont want to lose all the free testers :D
It will be interesting to see how many people will play poe2 as soon as they start releasing poe1 seasons again..

If they restore 3-4 month season on poe1, very little will play poe 2 and they know that. They’re trying to shove poe 2 on our throat

So the post says "next week" it is now Tuesday of that "next week" and there are no updates.

If you are releasing 3.26 in June, we would definitely have an announcement post, or something, instead of this "announcement of announcement" trend you are following again.

I don't see 3.26 coming in June, because in the past when Chris Wilson was still around, we always got a big heads up for new content so that there was a few weeks of hype to build, theory crafting new items and gems, build planning, etc.

But to say "next week" when we have had settlers for almost a year now, and then not to release an update during the time you specify, is wild.

This communication just gets worse and worse, and I am really losing faith in this company.

Man, I hate to say it but I agree with everything you just said. What I don't understand at all is why Phrecia was ended without a firm date for these events and their expected rollouts.

We are in this very weird period right now that the only show in town is Standard with no indication there will be anything but Standard to play over the next few weeks. The updates have been very vague on dates and the lack of response makes me feel like these temp leagues are weeks off still.

Man, I hate to say it but I agree with everything you just said. What I don't understand at all is why Phrecia was ended without a firm date for these events and their expected rollouts.

I can help you understand, atleast from my own perspective.

In the past when Bex and Chris were still with GGG, even during the darkest times like archnemesis league, we still had good communication, prompt updates, teasers, etc.

It is either a management issue with GGG, or a personnel resource allocation issue. If I was in a position where I am running this type of company, I would have a team who is specfifically dedicated to community operations, maybe a handful of people under me to oversee and moderate the forums, etc.

This variable has been removed from the equation. Looking at the behavior such as allowing settlers to persue for almost an entire YEAR, is just unnacceptable and then giving us recycled content and leftovers as fill-ins because they took so many of the POE 1 people and moved them to prioritize POE 2, it's just crazy.

I have been around long enough to see the trends, and some of it is practicable.

TLDR - GGG is disconnected from the POE community and if they don't start taking the feedback provided by their investors (people like me and you) they will suffer the consequences of losing a lot of their customer base.

When you constantly put people into a position where you are promising different things and then not delivering on any of these things, it is just a very bad look.

There needs to be some MAJOR changes in how GGG is handling and responding to feedback and criticism and ultimately just communicating with the community instead of being tunnel versioned, it's arrogant and frankly disrespectful to us.
