Where does all the hate come from?

I feel like it's a multitude of things.
Some people wanted POE2 to be something else and are frustrated, some are just pissed because the patch did too much in the way of buffs and nerfs. I'm also sure there are a load of trolls just parroting what others have said or just attacking it without offering anything constructive. There are also people that are really enjoying the game as it is, but understand that adjustments need to be made. If there is stuff you don't like, speak up... but be constructive and keep your emotions in check, because we all know how emotional people can be. I got the sauce. POE2 enjoyer. " This is early access. Its the same as when i joined POE 1 for Open Beta......Feedback is required, whether you like it or not. I've played since 2013, so i suppose could be considered a fanboy. But POE 2 needs to use the longevity mechanics of POE 1 if it wants to succeed again. GGG relies on player goodwill to buy stuff that has zero impact on gameplay, but supports the game. I'll stay and learn and adapt. But i doubt it very much if i'll get past a month in each league in its present direction. I certainly wont be levelling multiple characters to try stuff out. And that alone is a huge feature of this games success Been here since Open Beta.

" I think GGG will listen to feedback but they also have a vision they want to stick with. Maps are too large is a very simple feedback to address yet they are not doing that on purpose, in fact they are probably doubling down on it. My guess is they will be looking at number of active players, player retention and of course how many support packs they are selling. Really interesting to see how POE2 in 1.0 will end up looking like. |

its pretty simple, the hate comes from ppl that played theyre op streamer/youtuber build guides, that stuff got nerfed but it was theyre "favourite" archetype, its litteraly every league the same.
there are issues sure, but they were there before the patch even. following global chats, if people ask what they dislike about the patch, or what the problem is, they are usualy quite or saying shit like "i SpEnD 30$ oN tHiS, i WaNt My MoNeY bAcK" or keep saying this game sucks all in all, the drama you seeing is happening every league for years now, people are always upset when theyre buggy abuse mechanics get fixed and now they sit there complaining untill another op build shows up and belive me, bookmark this post even, when the next league/major patch hits, people will cry and throw insults left and right once the next op builds get fixed/nerfed |
