The patch is a lot of fun, please don’t listen to the vocal minority!

I've been playing PoE since the poe1 closed beta and ive been a die hard of PoE since 2013. I've played Diablo2 launch and still play d2 to this day also.

I can safely say this has been the worst, least enjoyment I've ever had in any ARPG in my ENTIRE LIFE.

Not because the game is hard, because I don't think its actually hard. I made it to act3 last night and just took a minute to gather my thoughts and I'm just not having fun and exited out of the game and went to play something else.

Even tho I know endgame wont feel this bad, there is zero desire to play this 0.2b given MARKS (YES MARK IS THE ISSUE) design philosophies and what it seems he wants this game to be like.

I still haven't made up my mind about booting the game up again and finishing the campaign. Just the thought of doing that already gives me the ick for some reason.

I might just have to accept that they want PoE2 to be what we experience in act1-2-3 campaign? Idk i hope not... Maybe its just not the game for me anymore.

I am in the same boat here, nearing the end of act 2 and wondering if I really want to slog through Act 3 so I can run acts 1-3 again to see the endgame changes. Endgame is a major part of this update and they have made the climb even steeper to get there. The logic boggles my mind.
I am having a blast as well!

PoE 1 was too fast for me and unenjoyable OP builds is something I despise.
(= regular PoE 1 build)

For that reason, I am never coming back to PoE 1 and I understand that these two games should be different. There are players who want zoom-zoom instant gratification.. then you got PoE 1 for that.

Then there are players who enjoy slower pace and more tactical combat and the gratification comes from overcoming obstacles, then we have PoE 2.

I absolutely love current state of the game.
The vocal minority will never be happy anyway, even if they would jump whole map on one click and dropped 100 divines, they will still complain why 1 click, it should be faster :)

That\s factually incorrect. Also the "vocal minority" keeps on badly reviewing the game and seems to be winning...Seems like the minority are the guys who didn't take their pills and think the game is in a good state.
Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.

I played all the way into about half of act 3 today and had an absolute blast. There were definitely a couple tough fights here and there, but overall it was a great time. I was honestly shocked to see some of the negative feedback after logging off and checking forums, but I guess most of us are too busy playing the game enjoying the season to post lol. The whiners will be ok as soon as their favorite YouTuber releases a meta build guide for them to copy, so please don’t nerf the difficulty too much in the meantime. Thanks GGG!

you are the vocal minority.
Agreed, the game is absolutely perfect right now, you don't need to spend any more time working on it and can get back to making 3.26.
PoE2 is a great tutorial for PoE1.
So freezes, crashes and broken textures.. is about vocal minority?
No. It's just raw and unfinished addon. It would be better to test it longer before rollout.
And it was really great original
patch model in poe 1. New rollout/season/league didn't break base/stable branch.
Lets talk about facts as you said. Where are you getting your "facts"? 0 sources posted to support said facts and even used specific numbers in your "facts". Are they actual facts or like "trust me bro" facts?
Thing is most ppl did not hit the worst part yet. Atm even doing T1 maps w/o mods is nearly impossible under 60m with lots of deaths. Mobs have way to much hp vs our non existent dmg now.
There's no point in arguing with the people who are angry. Its the same crowd that got mad at everything in poe1. They will ignore anything that says people are enjoying themselves and say it doesn't exist, and tell you you are wrong if you suggest otherwise.

They will exaggerate claims to back themselves up as well (like old mate here suggesting it took 2 hours to kill jamanra? Bro I killed him the very first try playing ED, he was far easier than last patch), because its far easier to cope with "game is out of balance" than "maybe im doing something wrong".

I imagine they are all coming back here because the poe reddit subs are finally starting to do their job and delete threads that are needlessly negative and echo-chambery.

I'm having a great time as well, even though my gear is all rubbish.

I agree. Just finished Freythorn with Huntress. Difficulty feels exactly the same as last patch. Huntress feels rewarding to play and powerful. I don't understand how people can struggle this much. It's launch week drama all over again.
