OP, out of curiosity what class do you play?

Speaking only for myself. I am enjoying the challenge and can already tell once I have twink gear for alts they will not have any problems with the campaign.

I am only in Act 2 and taking my time. Playing as a witch and haven't done the ascendancy yet.

Once the hot fix that will reduce uniques HP happens it will make the bosses go a little faster.

There are somethings I think the devs should revisit such as spirit cost, and rare drop rate. The gear dependency is the main thing causing the game to feel slow. If you don't have movement speed the fights are more frustrating than challenging.

First time I left a negative review on steam...Don't find enjoyment in fighting jamara for 40 minutes for 2 hours because everything is out of balance...By the time they fix this, the players are already playing something else...

This patch looks DoD by the looks of it.

if everything is out of balance use it as your strenght. And as always- get good, get better gear, farm more before boss if you cant handle it. None of my friends had problems with Jamanra (honestly, some rares with new Wisps are stronger and more difficult).

I can agree with the author, I love that patch (even though there are things that need to be adjusted, some nerfs are too heavy).
Maybe I should not talk, becasue I play merc, but the game is very satysfying. My next build will be Incinerate (amazing new channeling support gem) or Arc, also looks stronger.

Take a look at steam charts. The 24 hour peak for season release is nearly identical to the current player count. It’s very clear that most players are enjoying the game because otherwise the player count would be dropping like a sack of bricks.

It depends alot on the build and farming more gear is RNG. You can not garantuee a better weapon, if you farm 1-2 hours.

I've been playing PoE since the poe1 closed beta and ive been a die hard of PoE since 2013. I've played Diablo2 launch and still play d2 to this day also.

I can safely say this has been the worst, least enjoyment I've ever had in any ARPG in my ENTIRE LIFE.

Not because the game is hard, because I don't think its actually hard. I made it to act3 last night and just took a minute to gather my thoughts and I'm just not having fun and exited out of the game and went to play something else.

Even tho I know endgame wont feel this bad, there is zero desire to play this 0.2b given MARKS (YES MARK IS THE ISSUE) design philosophies and what it seems he wants this game to be like.

I still haven't made up my mind about booting the game up again and finishing the campaign. Just the thought of doing that already gives me the ick for some reason.

I might just have to accept that they want PoE2 to be what we experience in act1-2-3 campaign? Idk i hope not... Maybe its just not the game for me anymore.

This is easy, No need to whine and cry if you don't like the feel of what they did, like me personally having 5 minute fights with a rare and its minions is not my idea of engagement, I'm gonna speak with my attention and not just crying, I don't like the feel, I am not playing till something is patched or next "league". If they carry on this route, cool for you guys who like it, I will just move on then. That's how this should be, GGG makes what they wanna make and I play what I want to play. Simple
