POE 2 ✧ Lahkesis Queen of Chaos ✧ "Essence Drain " (Lich Chaos Ascendancy 0.2) Leveling Guide added
" Yea, you can go with Eldritch Empowerment if you're comfortable with it, but it can be annoying at times because if you have no ES you cannot cast spells. In the campaign it got me into some sticky situations a few times. Now that I'm in maps with 7k+ ES its just a free damage boost. Soulless Form is actually still quite good even without Eternal Life btw, especially in campaign. And rupture the soul isn't bad either with Blasphemy. There's really no bad choice for Lich with ED except for Unholy Might side. |

Cheers man.The spagetthification chaos wheel seems like a weird trap. Offering nice dps in exchange for 5 points to invest just to get there and downsides to sustain, which are not neglectibale. Tested this and im not overwhelmed.

" I'm not there yet this league (playing in SSFHC and died in cruel to the hyena boss, so I'm in the first act again-(), but played a lot of ED on 0.1. Event Horizon is an ok node in endgame if you keep it on weaponswap for ED (I kept all other skills on other weapon). Spaghettification itself is weird as if you keep EH on ED swap, you have to keep it on ED swap as well and you loose big chunk of benefits it provide (movement speed/attributes). Eldritch's Empowerment is way more annoying as we can't put it on the swap (and as it has ES cost instead of ES loss which means that it prevents us from casting on 0ES), but I think that given the fact that we are not spamming spells, even EE should be bearable. And if you are built for EE adding EH on the swap should be hardly noticeable. |

EE is fine once you have decent ES and ES supporting stats. Once again, I'll probably pick up Spagetthification using a jewel or annoint so I can skip Event Horizon unless they fix it.

" Educated, appreciate this. Currently 73 and running with rupture and dominion...checking out the dual curse approach...well I know the life wheel is being the safer choice, but im on softcore. Linking ed to swift, chain (zenith on bosses), considered....just got a perfect jeweler dropped before the greater one xd...estimating ,if drain ailments or chaos mastery are better choices for 5 and 6 linkage. Knowing, that i could also buff my damage with these full and low damage support skills. Lets see. Im on ed since 2014 for the firts time, so im a complete noob on it for now. |

Chaos Mastery is generally superior. ED has good dmg per level return.
Eternal Life -> Eldritch Empowerment -> Crystalline Phylactery, seems to be the best path, imo. Stack ES and Recharge and Recharge Start. You only really need 2 curses which you can get with Whispers of Doom or the unique Ring. If you go Whispers of Doom, i've found running blasphemy with temporal curse and leaving despair self cast is ideal. Additionally, you can use Cursed Ground on Despair and utterly ignore the faster activation supports/passives. It means your curse won't spread, but I honestly haven't needed it to ever. It's only needed on rare/bosses at most. |

As I just said that, the high level scaling isn't ramped up like last season. So it actually falls of for ED. Oddly enough, I just swapped things around and both Deliberation and Derange out perform it with like 250 int. If you don't mind the bit of slow down, Deliberation is pretty strong option. |

Can someone explain: why do people from top-100 of the ladder use Atziri's Disdain?
Even if you have 2k life (which isn't common fot this build), it gives you less ES, than some random rare helmet. Is it because of rarity or the price of this item? Or am I missing something. |
