Does 0.2 need economic reset + balance at mid league time ?

Just a thread to share opinions.

Personnaly i think that an économic reset + skills balance + loot balance even without any more content is the only thing that can make 0.2 decent.

Market is doom, RTM is out of control, 1 build farm 10 times faster than the rest.

Personaly i would like to build another char, even with the actual campain, just if i can get more loots and a fresh market.

Market's fine if you're not looking for the exact same thing as everyone else

Currency exchange has been pretty stable, no out of control inflation I can see

Simply will never happen - It would crater 0.2 player counts and they wouldn’t recover.

The biggest hurdle is the campaign. It’s painful to play for the majority of players (even if you don’t think so, a simple glance through the topics in this forum shows most do).

I imagine many fewer players actually completed the 0.2 campaign vs 0.1 .I put the metaphorical controller down halfway through this time because even though I think the game overall is fun, I had 0 desire to grind the campaign out to get to the part of the game I wanted to play.

I imagine the majority of players would stop playing if this reset happened. Most players are likely 1 character per season, especially with the painful, boring and dull slog that is the campaign. All of those players would drop off.

Agreed, I think currency drops in the endgame are in a great place. It's the quality of the rares and the low number of uniques that make it feel unrewarding imo.

I agree, will never happen

but iam very curious to read other players opinion, like yours. Because you know its difficult to figure if this kind of event would be great or terrible for the community !

iam definitivly on the other side and i would looooooovve a reset, but i understand fully your POV

I have had zero issues with item prices

They didn't do it after the rampant exploiting crashed the currency market in 0.1 they're not going to do it to an otherwise healthy market because fomo dictates everyone must play lightning spear

how do you not have issues with item prices? that's pretty much an oversupply of everything other than t0 uniques that aren't gamechanging or worth its value when you can do away with 2d gearing. sacred flames more than half the price it was days ago.
