Loot is actually great. GGG knows what they are doing.

yep super excited to kill a rare mob/boss and get 0 rare items, feels great man.

Then u get a good item and it feels like "fuck finally something" and not "wow a good item"

Adjustments are always needed, but overall loot should remain exciting. Good and useful loot should be less common or rare. One of the very best feelings you get from playing is when you get a good drop. People wanting more will bring down all of us.

True. But not 0.1 chance rare. Playing two weeks ant getting only 1 perfect jeweler is going overboard with it's rarity in my opinion. The person above me actually hit the nail on the head. If after dropping something the feeling you get is "finally something", you went overboard.

It's very simple if the game keeps feeling like playing an unpaid internship then i and many others will no longer play the game.

Exactly.

GGG's (Chris Wilson's) philosophy always was "The best items are hard to get", and not "items are hard to get".

I couldn't even get excited about the two Divines that dropped for me this league because i knew i wouldn't see another for the next 30+ hours of play.
i agree loot should be a little more rare and stay that way but when u play ssf and in maps are still using gear from the campaign from act 1 cruel it feels bad
not being able to craft good gear because its to hard to get good items/rolls and not enough ways to craft gear is not a good thing

ssf is hurt the most atm not even trade

Diablo 1 had more exciting and fun item mods.

POE 2 has nothing but defensive gear checks, it's anti fun.

I'm actually dumbfounded at how little experimentation GGG put into new item mods and item mechanics. It's abysmal.
I don't expect loot explosions like D4 that don't stop for 30 seconds but i expect to find enough promising bases, enough crafting materials to constantly check if some item could be something, enough skill gems and jewelers orbs to be able to experiment with different skills, enough that i get motivated to try out different characters, enough that i don't have to go with the same weapon for 50 or 100 hours, enough that i don't literally have to buy every piece of gear from trade to be able to enjoy a build that works like a well oiled machine.
the loot atm it's non existent. The game feels horrible period.
