Also remember there is a lot more playing poe2 on the game launcher rather then steam. LE doesn't have a separate launcher. poe2 has more people playing then LE right now.

I really doubt the game Laucher changes the statistics of how many people left. We have a pretty good sample size with steam alone. The percentage is probably within a 5% threshold on the PoE launcher too.

Meaning they lost even more players than we can see on steam. Either way arguing this doesn't change anything. I just want to have fun in the game. And it's pretty unfun right now. Peak 110k, current 68K, that's a mighty fall compared to 0.1 and launch 0.2, worse retention than Settlers first month. Womp womp womp.

I bought LE thanks to all the hype people were posting around here and like my god it wasn’t for me. Maybe some people can enjoy hitting the enemies with wet noodles but I can’t. The sound design and animations are so bad that I don’t care how good the crafting is I just couldn’t do it. I’m all for brain off gameplay but when it looks and sounds like that no can do.
Luckily steam let me refund it after 6 hours. I started with POE2 so I’m just gonna enjoy Settlers until we get some new content in poe1 or 2. |
