We are a very tiny minority. 90% of players won't ever read a forum, let alone post something. Just because you see a lot of negativity on the forums, it doesn't mean most of the players are unhappy.

If you're enjoying something, you are not likely going to make a topic about it. And when you look into the topics, even then the conversation is very back and forth, so you can't even say the majority of people posting here are unhappy.

The devs have access to player data that we can't see from overhead, so they're in a position to analyze trends that any individual players really can't. And I suspect that the people on this forum are being overly dramatic, because there are a lot of threads decrying the collapse of this game (which is still in early access, by the way) and how long it takes to fix problems (this game is like 4 months old, by the way) and how the campaign is unplayable. It's not that I don't believe those things, it's that I don't believe those things *can be true*. People just love being outraged.

This is a hard game. This is an unfinished game with a lot of problems. Some of the nerfs have probably gone too far. I wouldn't dream of telling anyone that those things weren't true. But I think the community response to how feedback and game development work is a little bit hyperbolic these days.
