Is anyone else having fun like me?

Game sucked ass till I broke down in act 2 and spent the few alch/ex I had to fix the awful ground loot I was getting.

Unless you have GOOD rng feel like the trade site is mandstory for a smooth expierence in acts, and if you have bad exalt drop luck then you are cooked and playing the game on hell mode in a league that doesnt even indicate you are doing so unlike playing in actual ssf where that kind of playstyle means anything.
I'm having a lot of fun. I like the new pace/difficulty.

Minions are in a pretty bad spot though, but fixes are coming.

My Incinerate pathfinder is super fun and actually performs surprisingly well
I'm having tons of fun. I play with a good friend almost every night and several times a night we remark at how much fun it is to play this xpac. I'm ham fisting a javazon build (i know it's a thing but I'm just doing what I think feels right) and he is playing some weird stabby fire and blood spear warrior and we are rocking faces.

I played minions in SSF last time around and am doing it again. I'm dying much less this time around. Spectres however are terrible and they were really the only thing I was looking forward to at all this "league".

Maybe I just played a bad build in 0.1 (explosive shot, with oil grenades for clear, rapid fire for bosses)

HTH did you ever get rapid fire to work for bosses? It's initial windup is so crazy slow you get slapped before the first bolt flies.

It's like watching a warrior try to get that wind up slam off only to get repeatedly interrupted by the attack spam they can do nothing but stand there and spam basic attack.
Patch Notes 3.15:
Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive.
Patch Notes 3.19:
Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment.

Yeah... spectres are a joke. Only the ones with auras provide any functionality, but are *stupidly* expensive for what they do.

Not a single one is as functional as the basic minions.

They should halve the cost, or more. Even have some that are super dirt cheap (5 or 10 base spirit) that players can use for trigger spells now that SRS/Carrion crawlers no longer do the job.

It's fun if your skills of choice (not build) are strong, If you pick a bad skill there's nothing you can do about it unless you severely out gear the content. The tuning of the skills is wildly off, like supercharged slam for example being the worst option for everything at all times, there's always a better skill to use.

If you also take into account the difference in currency drops in campaign (I got 3 divs before maps in 0.1 for example) it's why we see some people are fine and others are hating the game a lot.
When your character in POE2 feels weak, it feels hopeless, and with how easy build making is compared to POE1 the problem is almost always solved by currency.
Yup, me and my friends have a lot of fun!
Especially endgame is soooooooooooo much better than in 0.1 so far.

Campaign was a bit scuffed at release, but its already way better now. And even more changes are coming.

Personally I hope they'll nerf lightning spear at least a bit, because its wayyy to op now. But I fear they won't because they are scared of toxic PoE players backlash to nerfs.

I leveled 4 characters to lvl ~90 in 0.1 and I have never gotten a divine orb before T15 maps.

All in all I feel like loot is pretty much the same as in 0.1, except for regal orbs. I honestly have my doubts that they changed drop chances a lot.

Loot will always be RNG, so there will always be players that feel that it changed or that feel like nothing drops. Your experience here is a good example of that.

I was having fun. Enjoying the new endgame changes and rogue exiles and stuff. There is legitimately stuff i enjoyed.

But the lack of loot is getting to me. I keep clearing map after map and the best loot is usually the 1 waystone that sometimes drops from the final rare/boss.

I can't even get a greater's jewellers orb- clearing t15-16s with 3 socket skills is tedious. Playing path of exile without being able to customize my skills because of lack of loot is boring.

I should have removed the version I got the drops because reading it back makes what I said unclear. I was just bringing up how the drop chance can vary a lot per person and a lucky person will have a very easy time and an unlucky person will suffer.
