Actually, got decent upgrades with bunch of int, so got dex on tree, now searching good rare with auras to see how good is it
Has anyone of you already maxrolled endgame?
nah. I'm still trying to figure that out as I've never played chronomancer before and I can't use curses as my 6 man has a curse bot already. Need to figure out a loot filter too coz my league start filter for campaign is useless till next league. keeping my eyes on here for anything interesting for endgame useable mechanics as technically some people are still theorycrafting it and aren't at endgame yet.

Also, does anyone have like a discord for this. don't wanna keep a tab open all the time for this megathread and switch between game and MS edge every time

unrelated. but, I was just curious about this. I was mentioning how I swapped to solar orb this league instead of flamewall, and thought it was doing surprisingly well.

I looked it up, and yeah. it got a major buff in damage.

Idk about using it for damage, but i use it just to proc Echoing Flames for 30% ele damage, and you can use it with Font of Mana/Font of Blood for example.
ambrosia testing.
105 charges mana flask.

21 charges consumed per frost bomb.
so, in theory, 21x3% for 63% damage gained as lightning

...I could not tell any difference. no shock applied either.

Unleash+ambrosia. only consumes a single time. 21 charges.

ok, testing it on frostbolt with unleash I shocked once. must have been a crit.
so, does seem to be working. can't tell if its doing the correct damage or anything. can't tell if its applying to all 3 unleash casts.

it does obliterate the mana flask charges though. this would require some sustain.
unleash+comet might be good for it. its not like we would be spamming that. only on bosses.

frostbomb with its cd, and some mana flask charge regen might work.
I didn't notice it, but CoC has 20% less damage now. Duh.

I was thinking about Pinpoint support too (probably instead of spell echo bc it can't put in triggers now). This way reaching 100% crit chance on CoC-Comet is kinda the same as it was before.

I really wish to know how it would interact with Maligaro gloves tho. 30% less critical damage bonus means literally -100%. Will Maligaro fixate 300% or not.

Holy cow, again... GGG are the best at oblitarating things.

Context
I've started 0.2.0 by playing a cold chronomancer, like the fantasy. Well, the campaign was smooth except end of act 2 and start of act 3. I had to do few adjustment, like buying uncut skill gem lvl 9 for frost wall (wasn't lucky enough to loot one in dreadnought), and also bought crest of ardura, which helped a lot moving forward.

Current situation
I'm currently level 72, doing map t3/t4.
I'm playing with Cast on freeze and blasphemy setup, and still have crest of ardura shield.

I'm looking forward to switch to Cast on Crit and read that this should be done at around level 75. However, few things are not clear for me and just would like to see if someone could provide some guidance.

Basically I have the following question where don't have clear answer. Main objective for me is to have a smooth transition to cast on crit and avoid too many mistake.
Note: Not sure yet if I'll keep blasphemy as part of this transition, will depends mainly if I have enough spirit or not. Same for frostbolt, not sure currently how to take the most benefit of it.

Question 01: About offhand weapon
I see that everyone is playing with a sceptre in off hand, where on my side I'm still playing with Crest of Ardura. Why do people play with a sceptre in offhand, only for the spirit increase? Any other mods to look at on the sceptre?
Because on my side I have a big spirit boost on my body armour, so not sure if there is any other advantage of using a sceptre. And maybe this body armour is not great for me, but for now the spirit boost is appreciated.

Question 02: Pre-requisite to switch to Cast on Crit
I read that we must have aroun 47/48% crit chance on frostbold to switch on cast on crit. Is there any other pre-requisite to switch to cast on crit? Maybe on tree?

Question 03: New weapon for cast on crit
I plan to buy a new main weapon with some crit chance on it. Basically what I plan too look for is :
1 mod: +4 to all cold spell
1 mod: +Crit hit chance
1 mod: +Extra damage as cold/fire/lightning (guess 1 mod is enough for starting)

As I don't have an unlimited budget is that enough for starting or should I add something else? Maybe I'll look for some mana on kill if not too expensive.

Question 04: Any other recommendation

the whole build that is on page 1 currently from what I know does not work from what I know they changed too many things (but I may be wrong). the character was almost razed to the ground and here a few people are trying to do anything to make it work

and yes the scepter was in the 2nd hand because of the buff it had blink, archamge CoC and other supports that require soul, (I don't remember the name of the one that the author didn't recommend wearing), and the shield was mainly for the "soulofering skill" and freez time to extend the duration.
