Post-Death Ground Effects – One-Shot Issue

First of all, thank you for all the hard work and passion you’re putting into Path of Exile 2. I’ve been enjoying the game a lot — especially the fluid map clearing, the engaging class mechanics, and the overall atmosphere you've created. It’s clear how much care has gone into this project.

That said, I’d like to offer some feedback based on my experience as a level 88 Huntress. My character is built with solid defences — well over maximum resistances, around 80% evasion, 600 energy shield, and 3k HP — and yet, I frequently get one-shotted from what seems to be lingering or invisible ground effects after killing rare monsters. These deaths often happen at full health and shield and rarely feel avoidable.

I want to emphasize that I fully realize the game is still in early release (beta), and I acknowledge that these kinds of issues are expected during development. This post is not meant to be a complaint or a rage post — I’m enjoying the game overall and want to continue playing. But I’ve noticed this particular issue becoming more frequent since the last patch, almost every evening, and it's begun to impact the experience.

If it’s something the team could look into — perhaps through clearer visual cues for post-death effects or some sort of mitigation — I think it would go a long way in helping players feel more in control during tough encounters.
