A newbies pov

1. Difference of classes. There are three I have tried so far, warrior (mace) witch (summoner) monk (monkey-staff)

Warrior - Definately was the easiest for me at the start. Rolling slam through all the maps, oneshots everything, sometimes rares will take a second slam. Basic attacks on bosses during levelling through campaign seemed the best choice though. Had highest dps, and health, of the three classes that I chose. I also went smith for the resists and just turned the game into a cakewalk until late game, where I learned armor did nearly nothing, and high health to me was rather small.
Also some skills were completely unusable. Hammer of the gods maybe once in a boss fight. Sunder was such a long skill to use that by the time used you are swarmed and most of the creatures are out of range and now killing you, where a rolling slam would have killed them all, and kept you mobile.

Summoner - The very start made me feel like I was animating falling leaves. With 4 skeleton warriors I was able to do with them less than one chaos bolt, I mean half damage. While seeing this I can already see minions getting flat added damage would be more worthwhile at this point than anything, starting out this wouldnt be gotten on day one of the new league. Also until cruel, even with a decent amount of spirit from weapon, and the unique 100 spirit body armor, damage fell far short from a warriors basic attacks, until later in cruel. Only thing handled better and easier for a summoner was chaos temple and trial but warrior and monk far outperformed. Getting closer to maps summoner was on the same page, with great gear, compared to pick up gear from warrior.

Monk - I have to be fair on this and tried to go life base using scraps, and did not turn out so well with little strength.

Nitpicks - Armor feels useless currently if I get hit I get hit for a chunk of my health, and health in general feels like I am constantly on low life. Compared to energy shield which you can get an amazing amount of, I am left feeling constantly inferior when it comes to the possibility of using energy shield as a defense instead of life / armor.

I am going to go make an energy shield character now because using life on those three characters left me feeling frail and insignificant to what I was facing, and I can easily get five times the energy shield as life.
