Honest Feedback From New POE 2 player

I found out about POE 2 just before POE 2 was released for early access. I grew up playing Diablo - Diablo 4 and World of Warcraft. When I found out that POE 2 was a lot like Diablo 2 but so much better I just had to try it. So I gave it a shot and really liked it! At first it was quite a learning curve figuring out how the skill tree worked and all the mechanics of the game, and mind you I am no professional gamer. I play after work when family time permits...

Before the last patch that was released I had reached maps and was really enjoying all the content and thought that it was challenging enough and rewarding as I played through. I was just getting the hang of the game. Then the new patch came where everything was nerfed, monsters buffed, and tears began to fall... I have just got to maps on two of my characters and the frustration is quite real. Just last night while playing tier 3 - tier 5 maps no juicing I was struggling to get anywhere. It feels like I am playing on a tier 16 juiced map. And then when completing it, there are no rewards. I have not had a single divine drop, a few chaos orbs, and a sprinkling of exalts. There is no reward for the difficulty of the game. I play the game for a little relaxation or the get my blood pumping with a good map clearing, but I was actually feeling anger trying to clear these maps last night. So so very frustrating.

I still love the game, but I can see why a lot of players(who are not pro gamers that make any version of the game look easy) are frustrated and upset. And I realize that this is early access and that this game is still in the fine tuning before actual launch. I just thought I would throw my two cents in. I hope that my little bit of feedback will help with giving the developers a little extra info to help them achieve the best game possible. Again, I am not hating on the game... I am just giving my own feedback to the game. I will go back tonight and continue to get my rear handed to me in my attempt to reach the fun tier 15 maps on on. Thanks for listening!

PS. STUNS and FREEZING is ridiculous now....
