Stuck in loading screen and the game isn't creating a new instance

I cannot load my blood mage character as she's stuck in the loading screen in act 3 cruel for the chimeral wetlands. I have power cycled my xbox, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, logged in to different characters, but the issue persists. It happens each time I try to load in.

I Have the latest xbox one. I play on wifi. I normally connect through Dallas, but I tried CA, Paris, and other EU servers to no avail.

The loading screen freeze has happened before, but I've always been able to stay logged out for 15 minutes so all the instances reset and I spawn back in my hideout or town. In this case, I think there's some bug preventing me from loading into town.

Right after I reached act 3 cruel, I made my way to town but did not activate the waypoint. My friend was playing with me and put in a portal for jungle ruins and I took it to get the waypoint. Then I was back in town and he put up a portal for chimeral wetlands. That's when my game froze, but I'm not able to reset any instances. It seems like the game has no place to put me back to because I didn't get the town waypoint.

I just am experiencing this now. Exact same but on PS5. Bloodmage, Act 3 cruel, chimeral wetlands… stuck on loading screen.

Can load all other chars except for my blood mage.

Pretty bummed out.
