Path of Exile 2 Crashing on PS5 — CE-108255-1

Hell!

I’m experiencing a critical issue while trying to play Path of Exile 2 on my PlayStation 5. After selecting a character and beginning the loading process, the game crashes consistently with error CE-108255-1. This happens every time, and I’m unable to continue playing.

I’ve already tried the following troubleshooting steps:
• Reinstalling the game
• Updating both the system software and the game
• Clearing the cache
• Creating a new character
• Rebuilding the database in safe mode

Unfortunately, none of these helped.

Could you please assist in resolving this issue, or let me know if it is a known problem currently being addressed? Thank you in advance!

A solution that worked for me (but apparently not for everyone) was to change the DNS manually in the PS5's network settings.

First I tried Cloudflare (1.1.1.1 - 1.0.0.1) which did NOT resolve the issue.

Secondly I tried Google (8.8.8.8 - 8.8.4.4) which resolved the bug and let me log in again on the character that previously crashed the game every time.

If these two don't work you can try other gateways. Just google what's available in your country.
