Its amazing that so many players switched to last Epoch

Now ggg will actually have to listen to players feedback and make the game much much better or it will simply die. My prediction about fastest plummet of numbers has become correct. We are down to 100k peak players on steam in just 2 weeks.

there will be no free cash for ggg anymore. :)

Plenty of games out there would love to have 100k concurrency.

Last Epoch's new season is drawing curious people, same way Dawn of the Hunt did.

The crazed hyperspeed explosive loot fiesta all the Dropamine goblins want is not "a better game." it is, in fact, an objectively worse one.

Just go play PoE1. You'll be happier.

I dont play Last Epoch myself. I think its sh*t but I am glad it has success. Thats all. Also I would love to play poe 1 hc but its beyond dead. I would like to atleast the option to buy some scarabs from someone. But its impossible.

The money machine only goes brrrrrrr if you give a large number of people what they want.

And PoE 2 is decidedly not giving as many people what they want. So people are going to take their time and money elsewhere.

I have hopes they can turn it around, but there seems to be some people very determined to just ignore the things that got them here. Just my opinion, but I think it's one a lot of the people that bailed would agree with.

People don't care if it's easy because at least they can build fun characters. You can pick any ability and make a build out of it.

You're not punished for being creative or trying something out. The game doesn't force you to play a certain way in order to have fun.

Plus, there's actually items dropping. And item mods that are actually interesting.

And there's actually new takes on systems. They try new things there, like the faction systems, crafting, etc. They aren't afraid to try out things as long as they're fun.

If people enjoy it... who cares and it's to be expected. Just like how all the streamers banged out a bunch of hours then went over there.

When I look at the game or watch people playing it... I can't personally see any draw to Last Epoch... but as I said if people are enjoying it cool for them.

When I get bored or irritated enough I'll go back to modding Cyber Punk 2077 because that's my thing.

I really try not to describe things as such because I feel like the term is overused and often petty, but I can't think of a better word than cringe to describe watching you guys celebrate and preen and gloat over facts you're literally just making up. You see -1 DAU for PoE2 and +1 for LE and tell yourself a story about a hypothetical individual who has completely quit playing PoE2 and switched to LE and will never return and that's all just fantasy. You can't reach those conclusions from that data.

Just as a very simple example of how completely you are misunderstanding and misinterpreting these numbers, you can think about the (probably not insignificant) portion of the daily active user counts for both of these titles are the same people. So much of your little storytime revolves around the notion that everyone is choosing one or the other of these titles and that's just flatly absurd.

Bro it was a holiday weekend lol

Steam right now says there is 115k players on right now. Which is fantastic.

last epoch is fun, even though it's like a fast food, but ppl can play whatever build they want to play and enjoy the game. so there is really a lot of fun build to try, like in POE, but in POE2, 9/10 of my frds r playing LS and the 10th one is playing LA

Most people just play what streamers play or look online for what everyone else is playing. Everyone I know is playing a homebrew build and is loving it.
