Thoughts after 0.2f
- PLEASE INVERT MOD TIERS (ie. t1 is best). it really sucks not knowing whether you have a top or middling tier mod, even more so now with recombinating back.
- load screens take forever! doesnt matter if im loading into a town, my hideout, campaign area or map. i really hope you can do something to bring the load times more in line with POE1 - belts in a much better place with charm slots as an implicit - infinite portals for difficulty 0 pinnacle bosses is bad, particularly for trade economy when any difficulty has a chance to drop any boss unique - adding the fragment affinity to a tab means my simulacrum splinters go there instead of the Delirium tab which is annoying - expedition vendors dont recognise artifacts and exotic coinage in your stash, only in your inventory - feels bad - campaign feels too long. Unsure how long acts 4-6 are proposed to be, but DoTH leaguestart took me 24hrs game time over a period of 2 weeks to get to endgame. MAY feel better if there was more endgame content in the campaign though? POE 1 introduces almost all league mechanics during campaign - deli/expedition/exiles/strongboxes/heist/essence/blight/abyss all consistently spawn beginning in the acts so potentially you can still participate in endgame economy as a casual gamer dad in week 1 or 2 - difficulty of the campaign feels fine to me. there needs to remain a degree of difficulty to enable a sense of character progression and satisfaction. If the game was easy, it would be boring and no one would play - would be nice to be able to 3:1 lesser jeweller orbs into greater ones as they appear to be relatively rare in my experience - rogue exiles are cool in poe2 - can monsters that are spawned from strongboxes be identifiable as they are in POE1 with a ring around their feet? - love the corrupted nexus mechanic, though I struggle to think why I would want to run corrupted maps over cleansed ones - cleansed mobs have an exclusive drop item and drop only currency which is great but mobs that spawn from coalesced corruption don't have anything comparable: what about adding tainted currency or give them items with drop only implicits? A currency that converts an existing explicit mod on an item to an implicit mod? (mechanically, a random mod on the item gets removed and added an implicit instead) - map objective and extra content indicators are excellent! cant tell you the amount of times in POE1 that i've walked out map without opening the ritual page or something Enjoying the game overall. T1 not being the best mod really is frustrating and just confusing. If the best tier of every mod type was 10 or something it wouldn't be so bad but it's all over the place and makes no sense lol
