Loot and the overall PoE experience

Doing a pretty juiced lvl 80 map, find spirit. Spirit walks by 3, not 1 not 2 but 3 other rares to go completely across the map, to literally drop nothing, no currency literally blues and whites of low lvl at that. Does expedition juices it to hell, dies twice each, rewards? 12 artifacts...a few crappy rolled yellows. 100rarity on the map and it had mounting greed. Like what?! Risking everything for nothing. Very unrewarding experience.
At least if I'm spending 20 min in a map I should be walking out with a handful of exalts maybe a div, but this has been my experience since the patch loot feels like a lotto machine and 99% of the time you're a loser.
