Rake does not work properly

So im currently playing a ritualist huntress bleed build with rake being one of my main skills to use, what's annoying is about 33% it doesn't even work it just shakes the screen and moves me around in the motion that rake does and does 0 damage and then just puts me in the middle of a mob where i get stunned and killed. It's pretty annoying g when it's an essential skill to my build and it feels like half the time it doesn't even function thankfully I use my spear throw aswell otherwise my build would be trash.
