Rhoa Mount: A Frustrating Speedrun Nightmare

I’ve got a bone to pick with the design of POE2’s Rhoa Mount, and it’s high time someone said it out loud. The whole idea behind this skill was to give players a real speedrun advantage—a way to breeze through content with agility and excitement. Instead, when I hit the T15 high-difficulty maps, this so-called “mount” turns into a complete disaster.

What’s the deal? Every time I use the Rhoa Mount, it seems like I’m doomed to constant stuns. It’s absurd how this mount gets smacked down repeatedly, leaving me utterly helpless with no means to counteract or even mitigate the stun effects. It’s like the developers designed the skill to punish players rather than help them push through the content.

And don’t even get me started on the stun accumulation meter. Why on earth does this meter only go up without any chance of cooling off? There’s absolutely no way to reduce or manage the stun effects over time. Was this mechanic intentionally crafted to give players high blood pressure? It feels more like a trap than an aid, completely negating any potential speedrun benefits that this skill was supposed to provide.

In short, the Rhoa Mount, instead of being the game-changing asset it was meant to be, ends up being a liability that frustrates rather than excites. I’m at a loss here—if you’re going to give players a tool meant to make things faster and more exciting, please ensure it doesn’t end up being the very thing that holds you back. Come on, developers, get your act together and fix this mess!
