New Support Gem
We have added a support gem called Inhibitor that prevents charges being consumed but increases the damage of the supported skill by 4% for each type of charge you have.

Why is this worded with "but increases the damage of the supported skill by 4%" and not with "and increases"...Am I missing something ?

Like the charges not being consumed is a good thing, and 12% added damage for let's say minimum 3 charges of a kind is awesome...Am I missing something here ?

You give up the bonus damage for using a charge, but gain damage in return.

It sounds like that skill can't use charges, but it gets bonus damage just for you having charges

Normally you use a charge and get bonuses to your skills.

Instead, you cannot use charges to get bonuses on skills, but you will get a damage boost in general to the skill instead. You keep the charges, getting a 4% dmg boost for each.

If that's how it works Explosive spear with this support will be awesome for single target with storm lance

Will this gem be only usable with skills that have inherent charge interaction or with all gems?

Does it only cancel the bonus damage from consuming charges, or allso the bonus effect? Like Falling Thunder being able to spam the extra projectiles but losing out on the bonus damage?

Can't wait to see this in action :)

can we get a dev to reply? the wording is so bad

they are releasing it without the stat bonus so the first part must be a positive bonus?
