My POE2 thoughts, as a POE 1 player since beta

POE2 could be great if they would just stop pretending they’re not a POE1 sequel…

I’ve played POE 1 since beta and have thousands of hours played.
I completely suck at the game too. I’m no where close to being an elite or even “pretty good” casual player.
I put on some skills, smash buttons and see what happens.

I’ve been doing this for thousands of hours.

I’ve faced atziri maybe twice, the Taurus guy a few times and not much else in the end game. I’ve never played shaper and never had the desire to.

I’m completely ok with this.

Why?

Because all of this is gated in the end game and for 80% of the game, I can play my shitty builds and feel like a god.

POE2 is taking the reverse approach and making players feel like complete shit through the campaign starting in act 1 normal.

GGG - if I wanted to feel like shit, i would talk to my wife.
Please fix this shit.
