[Crash] Game Can't Even Launch

After 7 hotfixes and a patch, my game still refuses to launch. I get no error, my config file is completely empty, and have tried every fix mentioned. When will this be addressed as i know im not the only one? All i see is a black screen and the games cursor. Haven't made it past that yet.

Same, this started with the new update for me. Previously, however the game would repeatedly tell me that the "Server is down for maintenance" when it was in fact not. If I retried enough times, the game would eventually give me server access. Not currently helping anymore though, no matter how many attempts I make.

Have you got it working yet, I cant find anyone with a solution yet, or a comment from ggg about it

Any chance you guys are on laptops? I had the same issue on mine - launched the game, saw a black screen with cursor for like 10s and then crashed.

After some tinkering, I found out that my AMD integrated gpu was used to launch with PoE2, instead of the nVidia gpu.

Steps I did to make it work (perhaps not all are necessary):
- nvidia control panel -> manage 3d settings -> select your nvidia gpu as default

- win11 -> settings -> system -> display -> graphics -> advanced graphics settings -> select your nvidia gpu as default

- win11 -> settings -> system -> display -> graphics -> add desktop app -> add both PathOfExile_x64Steam.exe and PathOfExileSteam.exe -> for both of them select your nvidia gpu as default

This worked for me, GL.
