Just so we are clear.

the nerfs to all skills that were meta , is just 10% of the reason people are not happy .

by far the biggest reason is just your game design in general and ideas , we dont like it and we dont agree with it .

its a loot fest power fantasy ...that is what POE is at the core . for me at least . not this pseudo souls like , slowed down......

huntress is great on paper , but it just feels boring to play just boring .
For example bleed on huntress and in general , aggravated bleed should be
the base bleed .

When i hit lvl6 i was excited to get Rake i love dot builds , i imagined dashing
to mob packs bleeding them , then jumping to another packs .

in reality i hit 3 white mobs with Rake and nothing happens (might as well be nothing) then i move away to trigger the stupid mechanic and even the super bleed does less then half hp on a lvl 5 white mobs .................

this is just boring all of it .

i get it that you want POE2 to be something different then POE1
and sure it can be , it should be .
but not this . this is just boring to play .
if my brain lets out more dopamine watching the clouds outside move then looking at the game , that is not a good thing .

i am now scared for mi boi DRUID , please dont make it so the only way to do anything with him , is to build some combo points or to constantly shift between forms or something boring .

I don't see this combo gameplay being a thing with this style of game. If we need to do a 4 hit combo on the huntress every pack how long is each map actually going to take? In DS games you aren't exactly running through density like in an ARPG. So are they going to cut the number of packs by 80% and make a max of 5 mobs per pack?

This gameplay just doesn't match with the high density juice the monsters to the tits and add all the insane mechanics style.

this is why their dark souls vision will NEVER work in a game like this and it wont feel good until they abandon that whole idea. They wont, just dont play it.

Lower player numbers will maybe make them understand.
They’re 100% willing to die on this combo hill. It makes no sense. I understand not relishing 1 button builds, but tell me, what were Javazons in D2? They want this to be some spiritual successor to D2, yet obstinately design away from the loot power fantasy.

It feels so clunky. Parry, disengage(better choose the right mob in the pack), skill, roll in again and repeat cycle.
It’s also 80% less damage than hammering on spear stab/auto attack. It’s the same issue on other weapon types, auto attack is the only skill that actually feels like it’s doing damage and it has no mana cost. Auto attack can only be best if you can land these ridiculously designed combo strings.

Sorry players, you aren’t shutting your brains off here, you need to count stacks, track charges, track and target a specific mob, and time the finisher perfectly. Combos in Mortal Kombat are more forgiving.

I would play devils advocate and say that the dark souls vision could easily work. However in dark souls players actually deal damage. I can't remember a single fight in dark souls or elden ring where I would be chipping at a boss for 1% or less damage. In poe 2 this seems standard right now.

It far transcends difficulty and puts it into tedium. Especially since most of the time you are in no danger of dying.
