Ascendancy Tier List (Optimized with AI Analysis & Meta Predictions)
Sooo, first i explain what i did.
1. I used AI to analyze everything. 2. I fed the AI every detail from the patch notes, including items, classes, Ascendancies, uniques, mechanics, and more. 3. I ensured the AI learned and processed all the information to avoid missing anything crucial. 4. Then, I instructed it to create an optimized tier list based on all the changes, balance shifts, and potential meta impacts. This is what came out of it (i didnt change anything, just copy paste it): Path of Exile 2 - Patch 0.2 Ascendancy Tier List Patch 0.2 introduced massive changes to ascendancies, uniques, skills, and core mechanics. After analyzing all patch notes, class changes, and game mechanics with AI, this tier list was generated based on scalability, synergy, and expected meta impact. --- 1. If not balanced, this will dominate the meta. c. Blood Mage (Witch) – Uses life instead of mana, leading to infinite skill spam. Combined with life-leech, this will be absurdly strong. 2. A-TIER ASCENDANCIES These are strong choices with high potential but require proper gear or mechanics to reach peak performance. a. Infernalist (Witch) – Fire DoT buffs make this a real threat to Lich. If Ignite stacking works, it could be borderline S-Tier. b. Amazon (Huntress) – Spear buffs and high crit scaling make this a contender for top melee DPS. c. Gemling Legionnaire (Mercenary) – Hybrid weapon and caster scaling is huge. With proper uniques, this could reach S-Tier levels. d. Titan (Warrior) - Heavy defenses, strong melee scaling, and new weapon synergies could make Titan the best tanky DPS in the game. 3. B-TIER ASCENDANCIES Good but not optimal. Can be viable with the right investment but may struggle in the highest content. a. Warbringer (Warrior) – Melee survivability improved, but ranged and DoT still outperform. Best for Hardcore. b. Stormweaver (Sorceress) – Lightning builds are strong but Shock uptime-dependent. Needs investment to hit S-Tier power. c. Deadeye (Ranger) – Projectile scaling got buffed, but heavy unique dependence keeps it out of S-Tier. d. Witchhunter (Mercenary) - If evasion and dodge stacking are strong, this could become a top-tier melee option. But it depends on gear and playstyle. 4. C-TIER ASCENDANCIES Average power level. Viable, but not expected to be meta-defining. a. Smith of Kitava (Warrior) – Kitava buffs seem gimmicky. Potentially strong, but not reliable enough. b. Acolyte of Chayula (Monk) – Chaos Hybrid scaling is unclear. Lacks sustain to compete with Lich or Infernalist. c. Pathfinder (Ranger) – Flasks have been nerfed for years. Without major changes, this will stay underwhelming. 5. D-TIER ASCENDANCIES These are currently underwhelming and need buffs or better synergies to be viable. a. Tactician (Mercenary) – Party-based playstyles struggle in solo content. Needs overhauls to be viable. b. Invoker (Monk) – Invocation mechanics are still too slow. No major changes to make this viable. --- 6. Meta Predictions a. Lich will dominate – Chaos DoT scaling and sustain make it the safest, most reliable boss killer. b. Chronomancer will break the game – Time manipulation and cooldown resets could make it the strongest caster. c. Amazon and Infernalist could be sleeper OP – depending on how new uniques and support gems interact. d. Melee builds are still risky – even with buffs, ranged and DoT builds remain safer and more consistent. I know this isn't purely my own opinion, but rather an AI-generated analysis. However, I did my best to make it as precise as possible by feeding it all the available patch notes, class changes, ascendancies, uniques, and game mechanics. The result is a tier list that reflects both historical trends and Patch 0.2’s specific changes. What do you think, is this spot on? It's really impossible to predict anything at this point. They've changed the damage scaling values of almost every skill gem and those numbers haven't been published in the patch notes.
For all we know 0.2 could be a melee league, with every single spell being gutted completely. |
