I play on ps5. I have been extremely disappointed by the total lack of communication with the early access community. The weeks before, dude was out none stop. The money comes in, silence. Nothing. No updates. Nothing. Absolutely brutal. It had me questioning the launch.
Playing on PS5 is limited for this sort of game. I can't play poe1. The game is brutal and has been for at least a year. Maybe more. We knew last epoch was releasing on Apr 2. The entire arpg world knew. To console players, we want that game to succeed as they are seeking to bring it to console eventually. What does ggg do? Instead of releasing content for 4 months.. nope. They decide April 4. Really? Let's take a peek at this. For 4 months you release ZERO content. Nothing. No updates. No early access perks. Nothing. It's a league.. but it's not. Ok. Trust is falling with casuals. A game by the same parent company has a launch date and the thing to do is . Release 2 days later. .Ake it make sense. Cuz I can't make it make sense. And I have no other game to play that week.. and I am pissed at the move. You have come across as the kind of company I can't get behind. Early access means something. It means we will see changes. Updates. Fixes. But we got none of that. So we paid $30 to play an unfinished game ...when it's a free to play game. We got ripped off. Now to do this with LE.. scum move. Business is business. I get it. But this is absolutely brutal. Do better. As of now the $30 I gave you for the fake early access is all I'm handing you. Ever. You have proven to be unworthy of my trust as a customer. I took a look at your forum post history for own amusement and lmao you've been making the same emotional, passive-agressive kind of thread since 2023.
So... do you often have an emotional reaction you cant control to something minor in game and rush the forums to make doomer threads filled with threats? I mean let's sum up: "so done, never again" "psyke! actually not done" "it's SAD! I'M SAD" game broken died encountered a bug on early access version of the game - "The only solution.. shut game off. Reload." almost weekly new patch version updates, numerous daily hotfixes, updated patch notes - "ignored lol, NO UPDATES! why is Jon not talking to me?!" "can't learn Blackjaw's attack patterns but smoke white mobs so ignore feedback from other players" "GGG failed" number#293 and my absolute favorite: " "idk what early access is and dont care! never read any of your repeated statements about what to expect from unfinished game BUT I GAVE YOU 30$! thanks for 300shop points tho! suckers!" I'm bored, so I'm replying. I know I shouldn't, but addictions, ya know? ...Too many commas there, should I (err, another one, no two, no three...bah, I give up).
GGG released a beta version and made it publicly available to everyone for the price of half a game, and you get full beta access until the official launch. Even then there will be a permanent early access league only available to those of us who played early access. There has been a lot of talk within the community on the pros/cons of waiting so long between hard resets. The problem is that they have half the game to develop still, and any time GGG spends fixing what is currently out there detracts from time spent adding to what is out there. They did all this while making the in hindsight extremely poor decision to take the PoE 1 team off future league development to help with PoE 2. Settlers has already been around for 2 full leagues worth of time and is expected to remain for at least a couple more months. |

You know early access isnt the the launch of the game and they said the game will be in EA for about 6 months to a year and on top that they have released QoL updates and other stuff to fix or try and fix performance issues which I rather them get out of the way instead of them letting them build up bc crying children like you need them to release new content ever 5 days |

As most company's they are driven by Money thats normal but they had a take over by tennet if i am not wrong big company only looks for money and try to sadisfy their shareholders
