MTX Combining Issue

I am trying to combine an Aqueous Essence (Mana) character effect that was purchased pre-patch with an Aqueous Essence (Life) effect that was purchased post-patch. When I go to combine them I receive the error message "An argument was invalid" in chat and the MTX do not combine.

Same issue with the Aqueous Essence mtx. Cannot combine them in any combination, same message in chat.

I get the same message on xbox when trying to combine an old wild cosmetic with a newly bought wild cosmetic to try and make a wild gold cosmetic.

Occur with the chest, the helm and the boots.

Tried in town, in a combat zone, in hideout and did not change the result, relogging did nothing, restarting the console did nothing and making another character did nothing.

All that happen is that I get the combine window, a confirmation message that I want to combine them followed by the combine noise and a chat message of 'An argument was invalid.'

Currently attempting it again each couple of hours but so far result has not changed and I am currently awaiting a reply from support to see if they can shed some light on the issue.

Will edit with a solution if one is found or with the result if none is found.

Bumping this to say it's been what 2 to 3 months and the issue is still there?

Bump 4+ months and the combine cosmetic feature is still a no go.

Still havent heard back from support ive send an inquiry again but this time for a point refund but still no answer as of yet.
